On 12-4 Esperanza hosted Long Beach Wilson with their 2nd game of the Aliso Cup.  Six minutes into the match Daniel Borst nearly scored with a wide shot and then Cory Wolfrom received a pass from Borst, dribbled past a defender in the box and then took a shot to the net for the 1st Aztec score. Three minutes later Borst took a hard shot glancing of the post back to Eddie Arrellano who tapped it back into the net for the 2nd score.  The Aztecs dominated play throughout the period with offensive tactical passing and keeping the balls in the offensive side of the field.  At 18 minutes left in the period Long Beach Passed the ball near the top of the box and got off a shot to the net for their 1st score.  At eleven minutes remaining Borst curved a corner kick with Eddie Arrellano  scoring on a perfect header in front of the net. 1st period ended with Aztecs on top 3-1.
     The 2nd period continued dominant play from the Aztecs and they again scored at 13 minutes remaining with Borst dribbling past defenders in the box and passing it off to Price for a shot and goal. Shortly after, the Aztecs nearly scored again from a shot near the frame from Ryan Born and then a long cross from Drew Hontz that almost connected to Nico Demaria in front of the net. With one minute left Long Beach Wilson caught the Aztecs on their heels and shot one in for a score.  The game ended with an Aztec victory 4-2.
