In an important rematch, the Aztecs tried to keep Marina for getting revenge for their 1-0 loss to Esperanza.

The match was hotly contested, with both sides have opportunities to take the lead.  Good defense and timely saves from both goal keepers kept the match a 0-0 draw at the half.

In the 38^th minute, however, the Aztecs broke the scoring deadlock.  Scott Rice (9) crossed the ball from the right side to the left, where it was flicked on by Brian Morales (2).  Damon Baker (10) was waiting, and his shot found the back of the net for a 1-0 Aztec lead.

The Esperanza side used ball possession and good defense to close out the game, giving the Aztecs two 1-0 victories over the Vikings.
