1/22/10 EHS v Fountain Valley (3-0)

Following the Aztecs only loss of this season to Edison 2-1, the Aztecs have returned home to host the next 5 consecutive games. On Jan. 20^th the Los Al game was cancelled due to heavy rain.  On Jan 22^nd the Aztecs hosted Fountain Valley on a cold rainy night. The Aztecs scored early with goals from Roberto Diaz and Jeremy Stith. With water ankle deep both teams found it difficult to pass and take shots. The Aztec defense held strong throughout the water fight and the period ended 2-0.  The second period continued the same with players drenched and muddy both teams just trying to move the ball without slipping. With determination and tenacity Jeremy Stith managed his second score of the game midway into the period.  Following heavy persistent rain and thunder the Referees called the game with half of the period remaining with the Aztecs victorious 3-0.
